Due to the prevalence of identity theft, healthcare providers are now required under "Red Flag Rules" to have a medical identity theft policy in place to safeguard against your child's medical identity being stolen.  Part of the policy that Harpeth Pediatrics has adopted is to require that the parent or guardian show a driver's license at check in.  We are sorry if this seems inconvenient, but the only reason we do it is for your child's protection.

Along with showing your driver's license, please also be prepared in the new year to present your insurance card, update your HIPAA paperwork and update your patient registration form.  Thanks for your cooperation.
